A finished room — bright, clean and tidy

Frequently asked
questions

We’ve gathered the answers we give most often over the phone — about construction and about cleaning. If your question isn’t here, ask it directly.

About construction

Do you guarantee your work?

Yes — warranty terms are written into the contract before work begins, by type of activity: that goes for renovations and insulation alike. What’s in writing is what stands.

Why won’t you give a price over the phone?

Because a price without a site visit is either lowballed to win you over, or padded to protect us. First we look at the project, then we calculate — we’ve laid out exactly how the price takes shape on the “How pricing works” page. The visit is free and commits you to nothing.

Do you work with your materials or ours?

Both. We can price everything with our own supplies or work with materials you’ve chosen — just tell us which way you’d like it at the site visit.

Do you help with choosing materials and colours?

Yes. We’ll tell you what’s worth the money and what’s merely expensive, where the difference shows and where it doesn’t. The final decision is always yours; our job is to execute it flawlessly.

Do you take on small jobs, or only large projects?

Ask us — the honest answer depends on our schedule. Small jobs are not beneath us; badly done work is.

Do I need an approved design before we can start?

For most renovations and interior upgrades — no: a site visit and a clear quote are enough. For larger undertakings, such as renovating an entire building, we tell you at the visit which documents are required and can point you to a design engineer.

Do you work outside Sofia?

For construction and building renovation — yes, on larger projects we take on work across the country. Cleaning we do in Sofia.

Do you work in stages with interim payments?

Yes — the quote is broken into stages, each accepted and paid on completion. We never ask for everything up front.

Can you take over a project another company started?

After a site visit and an honest assessment of what’s there — yes. We’ll tell you plainly what can be built upon and what has to be corrected first.

Can we live in the home during the renovation?

It depends on the scope — for a complete renovation, the honest answer is usually “it will be hard”. Where possible, we stage the work room by room so part of the home stays livable. We tell you this openly at the site visit — not after the first wall comes down.

How long does a renovation take?

You won’t hear a universal number from us — it depends on the size, the installations, the existing condition and the materials chosen. What you will hear: a specific deadline in the quote, after the site visit. And because the whole project is in one pair of hands, that deadline doesn’t depend on anyone else’s schedule.

What happens if something unforeseen comes up during the work?

We stop, show it to you and price the change in writing before continuing. No work “on trust”, no surprises in the final bill — you decide with the full picture in front of you.

I have mould — do I need insulation?

It depends — and the honest answer starts with a site visit, not a quote. Mould is a symptom: the cause may be a cold wall, a leak, condensation or poor ventilation, and each calls for a different fix. First we find the cause, then we tell you whether insulation is the cure — or only part of it.

About cleaning

Do you bring your own supplies and equipment?

Yes — we arrive with everything we need: professional equipment and products chosen for the surfaces in your space. If you have preferences — delicate fabrics, allergies, a favourite product — tell us in advance and we’ll work around them.

How long does a cleaning take?

It depends on the size and condition of the space — so we don’t guess. When we book you in, you’ll hear a realistic estimate of how long it will take, and we stick to it.

Do I need to be there while you clean?

You don’t have to be. Some clients stay, others entrust us with access — in both cases everything is agreed clearly in advance, so you can rest easy. Trust is part of the service, and we treat it like a key: it’s kept safe.

Do you work on Saturdays?

We do our best to fit your schedule — including when the time that suits you isn’t on a weekday. Call us and we’ll find a day and hour that work for both sides.

On a recurring plan, is it really the same people every time?

Yes — that’s the whole point of the plan, and we protect it. When someone on the crew is on leave or off sick, we warn you in advance and send a person already familiar with your property’s worksheet.

Am I locked into a long term with a recurring plan?

We don’t want you staying with us by contract — we want you staying by choice. The terms are spelled out clearly before we start, and there’s no fine print waiting to surprise you.

Do you work under contract for offices?

Yes — we maintain offices on a recurring basis, with an agreed frequency and a fixed scope of work. That way you know what you’re getting every week, and we know the space well enough to miss nothing.

How does access work if you clean outside office hours?

By protocol, not by vague goodwill. We agree in writing who on the crew gets access, how keys or cards are handed over, and who is notified on entry and exit. That’s how we work most of the time — in the evening after your day ends, or early in the morning before it begins, so your team and ours never cross paths.

When should we call you in after a renovation — right after the builders?

After the last dusty task — sanding, cutting, drilling. If we come while dust is still rising, we’ll be cleaning twice. Tell us how far the renovation has come, and we’ll tell you honestly when the moment is right.

The dust came back a few days after the cleaning — is that normal?

To a degree — the finest dust keeps settling out of the air for days, so a light second layer is physics, not negligence. That’s why we clean in an order that captures the maximum the first time round. If anything bothers you afterwards, call us — we’ll look at it together.

Does the site need to be cleared of building materials?

Ideally, bulky waste and leftover materials are out — then we can reach every corner. If that isn’t possible, we agree at the visit what stays and how we’ll work around it, so both sides know exactly what the service covers.
